Renewing Hope

At the core of our mission is wellness; we seek to assist in identifying mental health problems, and helping to meet the basic felt needs of food, clothing, shelter and transportation.

Food Pantry (Food for HOPE)

The Food Pantry is the first step to get help at The CARE Center. Using it will allow us to know you more and see how we can help you with other programs and services. Shop for fresh produce, bread, canned goods, meat, and more at no cost. All guests are welcome to visit once each month.

In addition, we have our annual Food for HOPE Thanksgiving giveaway every November, where we distribute boxes consisting of one (1) meat, fresh veggies/fruit, and nonperishables. Visit the links below to learn more.

Clothing Thrift Store

We offer affordable, quality second-hand apparel for the whole family. We inspect, wash and prepare every item to ensure they're ready for using a second time. Proceeds are used to offset costs of our other programs, such as our Food Store and health referral services. The Thrift Store is open at the same time as the Food Store.

The Counseling Center

People often don't get the mental health services they need because they don't know where to start. Talk to one of our licensed mental health counselors who will guide clients through various modes of talk therapy to assess mental and emotional health disorders, relationship issues and life challenges. Counselors meet in one of our private and secure rooms. This service is also at a discounted rate for individuals and family therapy.

Vehicle Assistance

Periodically, used cars are donated to The CARE Center. And, we in turn donate them to families who are attending Christ Church and represent a qualified single mom or an under-resourced family. A tax-deductible donated car can transform a life. Depending on where you're located, one of the members of our Care Team may be able to connect you with one of our area automotive repair shops and a participating insurance company to assist with your transportation needs.

Center for Reconciliation

The Center for Reconciliation seeks to equip leaders with knowledge, collaborative partners and diversity training that enables them to develop and manage thriving multiracial churches, parachurches and organizations within the wider marketplace. We offer competitive fee-based experiential classes, boot camps, organizational consulting, as well as conflict and reconciliation services. The proceeds of this training helps to support The CARE Center.

We have the right volunteer opportunity for you!
