Mission

CARE 4 Kids envisions a New Jersey where all children can fulfill their potential. We are building a bridge that connects local agencies, churches, community organizations, businesses, and individuals to provide resources to under-resourced children/families. Strong, stable families empower children to fulfill their potential.

Problem & Opportunity

In 2023, 98,655 reports of child abuse/neglect were made to Child Protective Services in New Jersey1. Research has shown a strong link between families suffering from poverty and the abuse and neglect of children2. How impactful would it be to introduce wholeness to a dysfunctional family before it is fracture?

Our Program

CARE 4 Kids offers compassionate solutions to underserved children. Child and family service providers describe the assistance needed on the CarePortal platform. Community organizations and members offer immediate assistance and the potential for empowering and stabilizing connections.

Current Impact

We currently serve about 25 at-risk children and families each month, meeting basic needs such as providing backpacks, jackets, and shoes. Additionally, through our educational programs, support groups, and skill-building activities, we reach and train nearly 100 children and families monthly.
