CARE 4 Kids envisions a New Jersey where all children can fulfill their potential. We are building a relationship bridge that connects local agencies, churches, community organizations, businesses, and individuals to provide resources to under-resourced children/families. Strong, stable families empower children to fulfil their potential.
In 2023, 98,655 reports of child abuse/neglect were made to Child Protective Services in New Jersey.1 Research shows that there is a strong link between poverty and income reduction in families and child abuse and neglect.2 What if there was a way to identify and assist families who need support before they break apart?

CARE 4 Kids serves as a bridge that connects resources to under-resourced children. Service providers for at-risk youth list their requirements on the CarePortal platform, which are then fulfilled by committed local entities—including churches, businesses, and individuals—ensuring both immediate assistance and a more secure future for these children.
We currently serve about 25 at-risk children and families each month, providing basic needs such as backpacks, jackets, and shoes. Additionally, through our educational programs, support groups, and skill-building activities, we reach and train an additional 100 children and families monthly.
We rely on our incredible CARE Team volunteers to serve our guests through a variety of CARE Center programs and would love to help you get connected to a serving role that fits your gifts and interests.
